Facebook has been monitoring users' private messages and informing the Justice Department of people who have questioned the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, the New York Post reported.

The social media giant also has alerted the department of users expressing anti-government or anti-authority sentiments during the past 19 months, Post columnist Miranda Devine, citing DOJ sources, said Thursday.

"It was done outside the legal process and without probable cause," a Post source said. "Facebook provides the FBI with private conversations which are protected by the First Amendment without any subpoena."

FB and FBI lableing you.

Why would this behavior shock anyone?

LifeLog started as a DARPA project and rebranded as Facebook when it was unleashed on the American public.

50% of the population thinks there was cheating in the election, so the data seems pretty useless.

If you're not on all the lists that count by now, then I question your commitment to SparkleMotion.

Well, the (In)Justice Department had better reassess, because there are about 100 million upstanding citizens in this Nation who indeed believe that election was bs. Let em' bring, if they are fool enough to play that card; it'll only take a handful of 'weak links' to snap and create a downhill snowball.

Republicans should stand up and declare that any Bureaucrat that "just follows orders" and breaks the Civil Rights (1st at the fore) will be held criminally and civilly accountable. All they have to do is threaten real Constitutional justice, and that would freeze a lot the banana republic crap going on.

It's coming to a showdown. Soon. The Left had best take their gains and back off. That is not a threat Mr. FBI, it's a prediction of what is likely to happen. And hopefully to avert substantial pain for us all.

I'm still blown away so many people use their products. They're objectively terrible across the board and have thrown away any veiled attempt at a good UX and are openly mining user data at the stage.

I see something illegal here and questioning an election is not that thing
