Could you point to that line in Trump Jr.'s email chain? I didn't see it, but maybe I just was reading too quickly.

From Goldstone, 6/3 10:36am:
quote:
The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.
This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump - helped along by Aras and Emin.
Side note: is the Crown prosecutor of Russia even a real person?

So Goldstone assumed she was, which isn't what your silly arse claimed.

No, but Goldstone thought she was. Russia has a grand prosecutor, but not a crown prosecutor, and that attorney certainly wasn't either one.
Seems like the exchange went like this:
Goldstone: Hey everybody, this crown prosecutor from Russia's got the dirt on Hillary!!! She wants a meeting.
Trump Jr: sounds like B.S.
Kushner: Eh, take the meeting anyways, what harm could it be.
They go to the meeting where there is no bombshell. Kushner walks out, Manafort never gets off his phone, and Trump Jr. considers it nothing but a big waste of time.
CONSPIRACY!!!!

It could become illegal if the Russian government secretly gave sensitive info that had value.
Don't know if that is the law in every state or federal law, but it is in New York. They had the meeting at Trump Tower, so it will be the state of New York's law jurisdiction.
It also could be under campaign

You left out the best part: Then they all lied about it. Including some of them in a manner that exposes them to prosecution.
Oops!!

What did they lie about? They were asked if they met with agents of the Russian government. She wasn't. She was just some attorney working for an opposition research firm. They asked if they colluded with the Russian government. They didn't. The attorney didn't have the goods, and she wasn't affiliated with their government in any way. The meeting was a complete waste of time.

That's the part that blows my mind. They are doing everything they can to investigate Trump because they think he may have possibly somehow got info about Hillary breaking the law. Why not shift some of the focus and actually investigate the person who broke the law?

He is on the right. The media will hammer any trivial thing about him and let actual treason go ignored by those on the left.
