Covid 19 Delta outbreak: Experts say 'post-pandemic stress disorder' could lead to rise in heart disease

quote:

One of Australia's leading cardiology researchers says the complex effects of coronavirus lockdowns will likely lead to more deaths from cardiovascular disease.

But Professor David Hare has urged caution in the face of an alarmist prediction from the UK, which suggested up to 300,000 people in that country could develop heart disease as a result of "post-pandemic stress disorder".

Hare, the world's only cardiologist who has also trained in psychiatry, has researched the link between depression and cardiac disease – Australia's leading cause of death – for more than four decades.

He said Covid-19 had broadly created heightened risk in three areas – systemic pressure on the healthcare system causing backlogs, patients delaying testing or treatment due to fear of catching the virus, and the wide-ranging "psychosocial" effects of the pandemic and lockdowns themselves.

Simple question to ask these idiots would be “What is the incidence rate for vaccinated vs non-vaccinated doe these issues?”

There would be a non-answer at best to that.

I can’t believe people are backing the England doctors who said this. It’s insane

Yup.

My brother had a cardiologist appointment scheduled for Wednesday in preparation of an angiogram. It had been pushed off for weeks.

He died in his sleep Monday morning.

Sorry to hear that, bass

It's a shame what they have done to our healthcare system all around. From draconian lockdowns to firing health care workers over unconstitutional mandates.

On the flip side, those same 300,000 people in that country could not develop heart disease also.

Another flip a coin opinion by an "expert".

As long as it's actually "post-pandemic" (meaning it's over) they can sacrifice a few hearts out there.

Lol

It’s your stress causing heart disease and not the “vaccine” we have mandated you take.

How can you get post pandemic stress disorder if we can't get to the post part of the pandemic?

Just a way to explain the seemingly healthy dying of heart attacks. Glossing over the elephant in the room. They know the vaccine is causing a sharp rise in heart related issues but refuse to acknowledge

Same here. I have not yet finished medical school but I know medical students must understand psychiatry in order to treat many patients.

Also for the record, I have also not yet started medical school.
