Why do we always get representatives (especially governors) who are always some caricature of all the southern stereotypes rolled into one? I've lived in this state for most of my life and most people don't walk around acting or talking like that.

There is a small but very vocal segment of Southerners who judge themselves not by their neighbors in the South, but by Yankees.

This goes back at least to 1967 and a memoir by Mississippi's Willie Morris. Note the title:

So a guy who was infamously removed from office for refusing to comply with a directive to remove something that was clearly unconstitutional, is going to defintely vote Constitutionally?

To be fair to Doug, it is rather shameful for someone to have to admit they're from Alabama.

Then he should GTFO. It's quite simple. There is freedom of movement between all 50 states.

Is this the new Strawman argument? Anybody who has problems with a guy like Moore, and his history, in one the most powerful positions in world obviously wants all Christians to just go away?

Well Progressives claim anyone who supports Trump is a White Supremacist, so I guess it's fair.

The only thing I can think of that's more idiotic than that progressive reasoning is seeing its idiocy and then deciding to use it anyways.
