Hank, when I see your angst against leftist exploitation of these young kids, I'll be blown away because you're absolutely blind.

If you're worried about the constitutionalist position, you need to rethink your harboring of bat shite crazy progressive ideals. You're neck deep in your own arse.

All you do is argue against people who don't want to be forced to accept things they choose not to support.

The Constitution trumps political/partisan ideology.

If you feel otherwise, you are a big part of the problem with this country today.

So how about those strippers?

I disagree. Both Cons and NeoCons are quite happy to inject themselves into the lives of others. Blue Laws, anti-prostitution, cannabis, are among the cases in point.

Oh sure. I'm the problem. Fine, I don't care. That trash should be burned, and if you support it, you should be swept away with the ashes. Call it "lifting the veil" as SFP does, or say I'm a part of the problem, as you do. I don't care. My only hope is to live long enough to see the backlash. I'll pop the champagne and have a laugh.

But your arguments (while completely valid most often) kinda are on the same side as the people that are often.

They're only seen that way because ideological purity is being demanded on this board (just as with Leftists)

Any diversion from the NPC memes? Groomer/Leftist accusations due to wrongspeak.

quote:

You be you, you’re a smart lawyer type. I’m just saying there’s more push back against reasonable arguments because you’re silent on things “we all agree with.”

Because people are primed to respond with the NPC talking points they've been fed and little else. Their actual responses aren't organic and they have no perception outside the in/out dynamic of polarization.

So, they assume "omg he's attacking me. must be a groomer." and ragepost about double standards (when it's inapplicable).

I don’t know how this thread devolved into Trump/anti Trump discussions of ideological purity

And then you follow up with:

The point of the OP is to illustrate that either the “conservatives” come to terms with the realities of our political climate that will never return to the tempered discussions and compromise that never truly existed anyway

Yeah, why are we talking about ideological purity or the symbol necessitating that purity on the right?

Nah. There is a major difference in outlawing activities which intrude on others, vs those between consenting adults.

I disagree with the rulings that lap dances are constitutionally-protected "free speech."

I have trouble seeing the political content of a woman grinding on some loser's erection through his pants.

Not to the "not conservatives"

I want to have an orgy in a public park with other consenting adults. Should that be legal, or do you want to impost YOUR moral norms on society?

This board loves Trump, Tulsi, and Rogan.

Rand Paul probably encapsulates the board more than most of them.

It’s a cult of the personality more than ideology.

In the old days, the way you could tell a conservative from a liberal was the number of laws and regulations they required.

Conservatives were considered to be more free in that regard, that's not the case with the younger crowd.

Apparently no one likes liberty and is too afraid of the other guy.

Right, because you draw lines just like everybody else. You just like to pretend that you don't.
