Evolution is another example. Science has been manipulated by the agenda of the left to prove there is no God. I don't trust a scientist to tell me water is wet. The only true science is in the Bible.

2021--108 degrees in Seattle, 116 in Portland and Eugene, 119 in Spokane (an all-time record for the State of Washington). All these temps blew previous records out of the water, in a region more well-known for overcast grey skies, mist and rain and cool temps, than scorching heat and wildfires raging out of control.

Yeah, well here where I live, temps are way below normal for this time of year. Normal highs would be in the 95 to 98 degree range, it hasn't even hit 90 yet this year. Today and tomorrow it's not even expected to reach 80. Some years, weather patterns are different, it's been that way forever.

I'm pretty sure you would agree with what I posted if Auburn, Alabama had temps soaring to 116° F. I'm pretty sure it's never gotten close to that hot in Alabama.

102-105 degrees happen sometimes in summer here, and when I was a kid in the 1970s, I remember it hitting 108 degrees a couple of times. That was a miserably hot summer, the next year was back to normal.

the thing is climate change is real, but it's already too late to reverse it or adjust society in a way that will accommodate it. we are going to experience pretty devastating economic and civilizational repercussions in about a century, but you know what? i'll be dead by then. so will all of the posters on this board. the idea that anyone living today is responsible for people that haven't even been born yet is absolute rubbish. do you think your grandparents thought about the world they would leave you when they were young? absolutely not. enjoy life, live it fully, buy whatever makes you happy, etc. cause you only go around once and then it's into the darkness

there is no god and all is allowed. the idea of god is just something the powers that actually exist invented to keep people from thinking for themselves and falling in line. that's why leftists and christians are the same type of people except the former have abandoned the idea of heaven after death and want to dangerously make heaven on earth. that makes them more dangerous but both are equally as weak and worthless in their ability to see this life for what it actually is: a brief and purposeless ride

Humanity is affecting the climate

Every species of animal "affects" the broader ecosystem in some way. That's why it's called an ecosystem. Deer overpopulation leads to a massive decrease of the number of unique species living in that habitat. Simply because we are altering ecosystems by building houses and raising cows doesn't mean we are "destroying" anything.

Yes, it's been real since the beginning of the Earth. That's why you have things like the petrified forest in the middle of the Arizona desert.

Its funny to watch the politicians and greenies in Europe call the floods in Germany, the result of climate change.

Then the west coast drought & wildfires are caused by climate change, and an active hurricane season or maybe 1 really strong hurricane is caused by climate change.

Even though all of these things have always happened and always will happen.

In the mid 1970's they thought we would be in an ice age and lose crops all over the world. They totally ignore and dont report on the sun storm cycles that correlate exactly with any rise in temperatures globally.

What was the temperature in Seattle 75 million years ago? Or 10,000 years ago when it was covered in glaciers? Who was driving all the cars and how many cows were farting back then?

Dipshit.

the fact that cringe atheists on reddit exist doesn't make the purposelessness of life less true or make me give a shite about people who won't even be conceived for another 20 years

Washington State:

Oregon:

For example, the hottest temperature recorded in Oregon is 119 degrees which was set twice in 1898, once on July 29 in Prineville and then on August 10 in Pendleton

You are wrong, no records are being shattered, heat waves have happened before in that part of the country.

The notion that the climate can be reversed, controlled, etc. is pure nonsense and example of man’s arrogance and lack of repect for nature.

Joe Bastardi has documented tons of cases where 'record temps' were just lies.

I simply googled record temperatures fir Washington State and Oregon and found that quickly. These people are flat out distorting the record to scare people.

Its all intellectual vanity and a money grab. Consider the ppm of pollution during the industrial revolution compared to now. Even with China's smokestacks its lower.

I agree.
Hey downvoter, give us some legitimate reasons why this is not accurate. Please don't say "A consensus of scientists agree" because they don't. This is another misconception due to a lie. A more accurate description is "A consensus of scientists who benefit monetarily from anthropogenic climate change; or, scientist who are scared shitless of being blackballed agree.
I digress though and ask you to give us your reasons to downvote statements running counter to the narrative.

At the end of the day, if carbon in the air was the problem, they'd want to just pump out carbon sequestration and carbon capture technology. They want to pump nuclear. Unfortunately that doesn't increase Democrat/Leftist/Globalist power so it's never on the tip of their tongues.
