Obviously you’re an idiot. Probably on welfare.

I was hoping that at some point, you would understand the correlation of me bringing up gifts with the subject being tips. I should’ve known better

I haven’t seen you crying about tax-free inheritance or gifts yet. Both are considered income after a certain dollar amount.

Say it properly, "you wouldnt have known", because you are uneducated and talking out of your arse about stuff you know nothing about and in all honesty from the sounds of it, you will never be apart of.

Why should there be no tax on tips or overtime? I’m just curious of the logic behind it.

There shouldn’t be taxes on anyone’s income.

Anymore brain busters?

So, you have no answer as to why people should not have tax on tips and overtime while us with W2s are taxed to the hilt...

I know that you think things that you say sound intelligent but I can promise you that you’re the only one who thinks this.

I tried to dumb it down as much as I possibly could for you but unfortunately I don’t speak uncontrollable drool. Find someone else to translate it for you.

As long as we allowing taxing of income, ALL income should be taxed including gifts and inheritance because it was no earned by the person who is benefiting from it.

- Another asinine law is allowing inherited assets getting a step-up in basis.
- Also, if Social Security is going to be taxed, then it should be limited to 50% since the other 50% was a tax already paid by the employee with the other 50% was paid by the employer on behalf of the employee.

Yes

That’s a bad system for everybody except the waiter

Restaurants depend on turning tables.

I guess those restaurants aren’t interested in making money

I, as a customer, enjoyed it but that’s because I was on vacation and not pressed at all for time.

But there’s an easy argument to make that no one comes out as a winner because most servers I’ve ever come across don’t want to get away from the tip system. The smart ones know that the restaurant will still pay them minimum wage or barely more and they would end up with less money. Also, no one ever claims their cash tips.

So what you’re saying is….a group of people has decided that i have to work XX amount of time with no pay and if I don’t like it….they’ll throw me in a cage.

Don't act like some leftist feminist pro-abortion pussy with your word games.

What I'm saying is that you live in a country in which the highest legal authority grants Congress the ability and authority to make laws with penalties for not following the laws, including laws to tax you.

If you don't like it, get out of the country.

No laws or rules have been broken here by Congress or law enforcement.

Go peddle your sovereign-citizen pseudo-anarchist bullshite somewhere else.

Wrong.

Bill

You are free label the link to say it is a "Bill" all you want by you are linking to H.Con.Res.14 and this one establishes the budget.

Since you are a little slow on grade school civics, you are linking to a "House Concurrent Resolution". Resolutions are not laws or bills.

A little help for you on this

See... 2 different things.

A Concurrent resolution is basically a general attitudes or guidelines that congress is going to try to follow but really don't need to.

First clue is the abbreviation. An actual bill that originates in the House uses H.R.###.

I can link you to some cartoons that can help you get up to speed.

If you need any help, I think my 5th grade nephew might be able to answer your questions. I'm a little too tired holding your hand on this one.

Later.

This is one of those MSM talking points. I haven’t read the budget but I imagine the “cuts” are an effort to eliminate fraud. There are many people on Medicaid who should not be. As to the “tax cuts for the rich,” which is also an MSM talking point, there is no mention of any tax cuts for anyone else. Imagine that. Tax cuts only for the rich. That must certainly be true.

It is a mainstream media talking point but I'm just going to assume that it is instead my partisanship's media talking point.

The resolution did not include changes to tips/overtime taxes.

I'd say read it but we all know you won't. You'll just find some random garbo Twitter post and build your reality around it

The internet really came too rapidly. We have too many aging knuckle daggers that aren't anywhere near competent enough in internet literacy, much less media literacy, to navigate this new ecosystem safely and responsibly.

When did I say to not pay taxes that are owed under current system.

I said the government reducing your tax burden and allowing you to keep more of your money is not a handout.

People getting refunded more than they paid in is a handout

Can you believe that each and every republican in congress failed to vote for no taxes on overtime and tips?
