Did you assume you knew the dying individual’s wishes better than the “well meaning relatives”?

This is the true "my body, my choice" issue as it directly only affects that person. I have zero issue with a person electing to have this medical procedure.

I support the right of someone to decide they no longer want to live.

I think this is a dangerous precedent to set. Who hasn't seen someone attempt suicide only to regret it later? How many people have killed themselves because they were in a bad mental state? I don't think it's good to treat death as an elective procedure.

What kinda question is this? Of course it’s good, one of my favorite things of all time. I wish they could bottle the stuff.

Tell us the Washington monument is flying around DC 4 times a day. That would be more believable.

I am not in favor of it. God decides when we are to die.

I’m okay with it for terminally I’ll and the old that would like to check out on their own terms. Those that surfer debilitating and constant pain shouldn’t be forced to live out their days in misery either.

Voluntary? Good
Involuntary? Bad
The trick is being certain that people are not forced into “voluntary “situations.

Isn’t suicide or just knowingly killing yourself a sin?

It would be just like a king or a ruler to say “we redeem ourselves through suffering”. I’m sure that’s why it made it into the state approved holy book. As a matter of fact, it’s in just about all state approved holy books. Suffer unto me my children…your reward will be in heaven. Also, pay your taxes.
I’ll never accept that humans should be forced to live in misery while we would never allow an animal to do the same.

I highly recommend it for Democrats because it will reduce the carbon footprint and save the planet.

When you allow the government to decide what is mental illness, a lot of things are going to suddenly become mental illnesses.

I have to believe that God would understand a terminally ill patient voluntarily and knowingly ending their own suffering when it becomes too great. Jesus committed suicide. He died for others but it’s still suicide. Why can you die for others but not yourself?

Yes, you're so right...the presiding administration here would definitely want to euthanize Donald Trump! When from all appearances, it is clear that Joe Biden is the one who is losing his mental capacity.

I'm the government and I'm here to help.
