I’ve never ever come across a panhandler that was legit. They were always on drugs or out of money and trying to get back on the drugs. Not a single one was on the street because of hard luck.

I have; some are regulars at the food bank. One man is a veteran who has mental issues and possibly an addiction.

Ofcourse he’s got an addiction. They all do. And before you go believing he’s a veteran, trust me, most are not but they’ve figured out to say that to keep the scam going. Some even have dogs with them so you’ll feel bad the dog is starving. Out of 99.999% of the people you see at the soup kitchen and on the street only .001% are worth helping.
