No.

If he's going to be a dumbass and spout retarded opinions, we should shite on them and call him out for that. He's a big boy and he can handle it.

Just because he went to the same school I did does not afford him and entitle him to more deference as someone who went to Bama.

I've said it 50 times on TD that blacks cops should regulate their own community. Problem solved.

They don't like black cops either. What will eventually end up happening is the police just won't venture into these communities at all.

I dont believe that. But I believe when a cop is needed at a situation,80% of the time a white man would be treated more fairly than a black man in the same situation. If you dont think that black people are treated unfairly then we're so far apart that we will never come to a middleground.

You serious right now?? I respect the constitutional right he's exercising. Beyond that, no.

Eric Reid is a great tiger. You may not like what he has done but he has always been a thoughtful individual. Having been around him in a few classes and knowing some people on the team, I literally nothing but great things about him and he seemed to give af about his education as well.

His brother will Be a Stanford grad. For this boards "black people need to take personal responsibility" crowd they are a shining example of good human.

It baffles me that our protest is still being misconstrued as disrespectful to the country, flag and military personnel. We chose it because it’s exactly the opposite. It has always been my understanding that the brave men and women who fought and died for our country did so to ensure that we could live in a fair and free society, which includes the right to speak out in protest.

I disagree with the act but I am glad they were thoughtful enough to reach out to someone that served

I'm open to this idea. Are you open to the possibility that blacks are less likely to comply making the cops fear for their lives more thus becoming more volatile in the situation?

also have a problem with entitled police officers that feel like they can take a life just because they carry a badge. Its sickening. 90% of every police officer Ive ever dealt with are completely entitled douchebags that relish in their power. frick them.

Proving your personal bias and inability to separate feelings from statistical facts. Alton Sterling wasn't un-armed, Treyvon Martin myth, the fact the WHITES are killed more than police, no outrage by you? Just the black killings upset you? What about black on black crime, which is a more substantial issue in communities.

The news only covers the racially charged issues, deception and perception are two wildly different approaches.

And your personal encounters with police, what is so threatening? If you aren't breaking the law, you're fine. Thanks

Anything is better than what you are doing now? Don't be stupid. What do you think complaining here does about the problem you apparently seem to care about so much.

I'm honestly interested. Sounds like virtue signaling to me without action.

Describe "unfairly."

Given the statistics of violent crimes committed by black males, you're damn right police are going to be on heightened alert when responding to a call or traffic stop involving a black male. That may not be equal to how they respond to other calls, but I would hardly call that unfair .

Make your point. You said blacks are shot more than whites. You were than asked for facts to prove this claim.

Then you get all vague with us and say "treated unfairly."

You really have no fricking clue what you're talking about.

I think low income areas promote violence, yes.

Are you open to the possibility that a cop would treat a black man different than he would treat a white man if all circumstances were equal? Thats the only thing I have a problem with.

And it's not like I'm just watching youtube videos to come up with this idea. Ive seen it multiple times. Racism is alive and strong in this country and its sickening.
