Have you seen how some (definately not all) black people are treating police these days? I know that they feel oppressed, but some of them are compounding the problem by being extremely aggressive towards police. There are plenty of videos to support this.

I agree with this. Nowdays it seems like people are going at police officers throats way too easily.

Pretty sad that people talk like this about former LSU players on an LSU website

Targeting kaep for kneeling allows whites to ignore the issues we face.
How. Kneeling
What. Police brutality and unfair, even paranoid treatment of persons of color.

WOW. You are wildly uninformed, my friend. Check some statistics, don't get your info from Eric Reid LOL. Thought you were better than that

We may agree or disagree with Eric Reid, but as LSU students/alumni/faculty/fans/supporters we should respect his honest and thoughtful opinions.

"The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Eric Reid shows the quality of education he learned from LSU!

I didn't know ~100 police killings of blacks indicated a problem. Seems pretty damn low when you take into account the amount if interactions. How can you idiots continue to think cops go out targeting blacks when the entire country is waiting on it to happen to destroy the cops lives?

That was a great article. I'm proud someone of that caliber went to the same university as me.

I went to High school with him for one year. Even sat in one of his classes and he was dumb as a brick back then and it really showed during the quarterly group projects we did.

Maybe he changed at LSU but lol.

I've said it 50 times on TD that blacks cops should regulate their own community. Problem solved.

Educate me. And I should have worded this more specifically, I have a problem with the way black people are treated overall by police. And I have a problem with racism in this country.

I also have a problem with entitled police officers that feel like they can take a life just because they carry a badge. Its sickening. 90% of every police officer Ive ever dealt with are completely entitled douchebags that relish in their power. frick them.

So your anecdote was cute and all, but you still didn't offer any proof of black people being treated differently. Thugs are a different story.
