Surely if these people possess a skill and can provide a service of some real value, they should have no problem finding gainful new employment. Are you suggesting they don't?

Yeah I really don't get the outrage and hate in this thread. Many of the EPA employees are good people, heck there are several LSU graduates who now work at the EPA. I have worked with several EPA workers in the past and all are good people. Nobody is out to destroy another business sector, they are just doing their job and how they are instructed. Many are scientifically minded and have a care for the environment to some degree. Cant fault them for that, everyone has their passions in life, some love computer programming, some welding, some prefer singing, etc..

It runs on a shoestring budget, its not like everyone there makes $400K a year and they have one intention in mind is to eliminate oil and gas jobs. Many make less than $80k which for the DC area is not 80k in Baton Rouge.

So protecting the environment is squandering but building a wall which won't do anything to stop a problem that's dramatically overstated is totally fine?

You don't?

Employees coming to work crying.
The response is to spend taxpayer money on stress counseling because of fear/sadness/pathetic existance.

Life

is

fricking

hard

Get used to it crybabies.

I think that's the general message.

Cold hearted or realistic. I think I know where you stand.

Well, for one the EPA is one agency that discrimates against women by not having equal pay.

epa pay scale

quote:

Gender

Female
55 %

Male
45 %

Salary
(Women) $38,783 - $99,650
(Men) $60,979 - $107,704
