Can't the president veto the bill?

On their terms. Same as Trump and the R’s

Trump has even proposed paying the furloughed workers, and the Dems have shot that down thrice

Why are the vast majority of Trump supporters on this board full of crap and unable to back themselves up?

Because you asked a question that you refused to research for yourself. So of course no one is going to answer you.

Note to you: Research the plans from both sides, see who is pushing for what and who is pushing back and you'll get your answer.

No to the democrat plan. Keep the government shut down.

Most of us aren't even noticing a difference

How is it that the side saying they won't open the government until they get what they want not in the wrong?

2 reasons.

the majority of them voted for a wall in the past and are on record saying we needed one. Trump gets in power and a wall becomes immoral. in fact in the last omnibus bill, they promised they would fund the wall next go round. got to next go round and they took their ball and went home.

secondly, saying we won't fund a wall is the exact same as saying fund a wall. it's saying "i want what i want, other side be damned," which is fine. i fault them for the first point, not the second. But it's no different than the republican viewpoint.

I believe it's 46 Y and 45 N.

Failed cloture.

Semantics. If he accepted their offer, they wouldn’t offer him shite for the wall at a later date and still demand DACA and everything else because that’s what they do

1st legit response I've gotten. Thank you for that.

You are wrong here. One side is saying they want something. The other side is saying not to spend money on that thing. There is a huge difference between doing something and doing nothing.

It's still in the hands of the Republicans to open the government.
About an hour ago the Dems voted down the previous bill to open the government.

You have a very difficult time being honest. Why is that?

Liberals ignore logic and reason at every turn. Here are a few examples:

Transgender, guns kill people, police murder innocent black men by the hundreds.

At least the Republicans have been willing to offer concessions by giving Dems things they want on key issues like DACA and TPS. They’re trying to negotiate
