The contrast between what is being reported in the media and what is being said here is deep and wide. And, everyone here is super confidant that Trump is totally innocent and this is all a set up.
I think you already know the answer but I'll feed the troll. The answer to your question is in the first word of your OP, "Potential". The MSM has stopped reporting news and has started using Questions as statements at the start of every broadcast. Last night on my local news in a very Red state the cliff hanger before commercial was "Dems and Repubs say that DTJ could be indicted when he leaves office. More to come following the break." They come back and report that there is a possibility that if he committed finance law violations there is a chance that he may be indicted once he leaves office. So we went from could to possibly, if, chance and may be. Hell, there's a chance you or me will possibly be indicted tomorrow.

The President cannot obstruct justice by exercising a constitutionally granted power. He could pardon Manafort tomorrow if he so chose.

I don't get this angle. Didn't a reporter ask him this question specifically? What is Trump supposed to say? If he says "no" and then later decides to do it (for whatever reason but let's just say it's justified) then there will be sky screams that he did it when he said he wouldn't. If he says "yes" then there are sky screams of "obstruction of justice". So what does he say? He keeps it in middle and says he doesn't know if he will or not......And there are sky screams!
