It's more than just work from "home"
This was my "office" view a few weeks ago

I don't think this is quite the gotcha that you're trying to pretend it is
And why you're drowning in this argument you missed out on Eric tweeting Shapiro said the vote count should stop based on the rule of law and the Supreme Court was right in Pennsylvania
Which proves I was right about your hysterical woman theatrics were unnecessary

Are you 1099’d and receive a physical check in 2024?

All the people who control the World are telling you WFH is ending. Just like that RT fraudster that got fired, your day is coming

Ok is your contention
I have two contentions.
1. We have no significant percentage of quality workers in government positions. No matter where they work.
2. There is no way anyone is as productive at home as they are in an office.
The fact that y'all will not admit this and fight so hard to deny the obvious about it proves what I'm claiming.
If there is no difference either way, then why is it so important for ya'll to argue for working from home?
You KNOW why. So do I.
You get to screw around and do whatever you want half the day. If that's not it, then what? And how in the hell can you be as productive doing that as you would be at work? Obviously you can't.
Again, I understand there's no making y'all admit it, but understand that everyone knows the truth here. Just like any pot smoker who will argue for days that he's a better driver when he's stoned b/c "I drive more carefully."
Y'all are just like that.

Doing all of your work isn't being accountable?
I already explained this to you, "genius."
Am I really going to have to do so again?
What kind of genius can't understand concepts this simple?

Based on his posts ITT, likely, or he's part of a small group. The medical field is filled with 1099 contractors...and they're almost all hourly.

100%. They are telling on themselves

No, you didn't.
You tried to ignore that and turn the factual scenario into some weird hypothetical where efficient workers get punished for their efficiency.
But you never explained why doing all of your work isn't being accountable.

Define significant (I agree the government has alot of shitty workers mainly in agencies that really shouldn't exist, but also in some that should exist).

Well that's just like an opinion man.

Tell me you were supervised by a micromanager or are a micromanager.

This board has a jealousy complex.
I work in excel and PowerPoint and then travel to meet customers. There’s zero fricking reason for me to go to “the office.”
I’m sorry you have a job that doesn’t allow this, but you can eat a dick. My team is infinitely more productive working this way than traveling to an office and sitting a desk there.

This statement is asinine. I’m sorry you work with retards. Hire better people.

Everyone who works for a Hospital is W2. Even as a travel Nurse in California working for a Agency I was a W2. I did get a tax free housing check for 4k a month

Your question has a major assumption issue (that people in offices don't have inefficiencies to deal with)
No it doesn't, Newton.
The assumption is that the inefficiencies are (much) better addressed when someone knows what people are doing. And no, that doesn't require "micromanagement."
If you leave the office from 10-2 every day, someone is eventually going to notice. It doesn't require "micromanagement" to see that.
But if you're at home, no one knows.

Why are we assigning the efficient workers more work in your hypothetical?
No one said that, Einstein. (I started to explain it, but I'm going to rely on your intellectual genius to read it again and figure it out for yourself. It's not hard.). I will give you a hint, though, in the form of this question: How much more of your legitimate work could you do every day if you weren't posting here like you do? I know it's after work hours now, but you post here plenty during regular work hours. So do I, but I'm retired.

Yes I did.
I guess you'll need to read it a third time.

If you are salary this doesn't matter as long as you get results on time.
