Did you? It flew and landed…

It's just Slippin' Jimmy doing Slippin' Jimmy bullshite. As I said earlier, one of the things that we learned tonight is someone would have to be a fool to wager with that dishonest frick head. What the Roadster did is indeed flight. But it is flight via thrust. He would have wormed out of any wager by saying he meant aerodynamic lift, like as if it were a plane with wings, instead of flight like a rocket produced via thrust, which is what the car actually did.

Anyone who is not obsessed with thinking they're correct about anything and everything and thinks that they also need to find arguments to try to win on the internet to prove it to themselves like Slippin' Jimmy here can plainly see the car lifted off the ground under it's own power and controlled trajectory through the air for a distance. AKA flight.

Who is doing this?

Nobody

They created a strawman and are actively melting around it

This car is very impressive and I want to see it do actual car things like drive on race tracks to see the tech in action

Doesn't have to be for flight.

And if they can come anywhere near getting across that canyon, you super lose.

It will never be commercially available in the form it was shown, but that was really cool. I'd pay good money to be in the front seat during one of those showcases.

That was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. Elon is so fn awesome! I love my Tesla - I haven’t driven my car in a year. It drives me everywhere. If you aren’t in a Tesla you are living 20 years behind.

As slick as the landing was, that insane uphill acceleration equalled it. I doubt there are many cars that'd make it much more than half way up before they stalled.
