On one side of the coin, i agree with you.
But on the other - it is smart business wise to outsource production. Previous administrations have made so many leaps and hurdles to manufacture anything, mainly financial obstacles, that anyone trying to make a profit while minimizing costs have no choice but to outsource.
If you really want American producers to bring back jobs, do away with all the bullshite paperwork and procedures they have to complete.

Those were three words that Rep. Ilhan Omar did not want to hear, but Musk’s tweet provided a chance for the squadmember to engage in some class warfare:
Billionaires want to continue profiting off your labor even if it means risking millions of lives.
They call this "freedom." pic.twitter.com/9rRKeHDh4m

I have new respect for Elon. He wants to work and make money. I want to keep growing my income and that can only be done by the economy working.

He has 2 giga-factories in the US and doesn’t have the capacity to produce for the US and the rest of the world so he’s building one in Germany as well as China to supply the European/Asian markets more efficiently. He’s also currently scouting locations in the central US for the 3rd gigafactory that will build the cyber truck and some model Y’s. Don’t know why people love to shite on musk.
