I'm sure Musk has thought all that through.....he thinks he has reason for cause and it likely has to do with representations they have made in their roles as officers of the company during the process....they will sue and Musk will probably settle....he is obviously pissed and isn't just going to hand it to them.

And to date there have been absolutely zero legit claims of this happening. This isn’t Worldcom or Enron.
Look every thing about this ties back to his ego. His ego is costing him a ton of money but I guess he has so much money he does t care.

Us not liking what these employees did, and the employees violating their employment contracts, are two different things.

Those parachutes likely vested the moment Elon’s ink dried on the purchase agreement. He then fired the execs. Meaning he now wants to take away something that has been already “earned”.
This is not the first takeover and dump of management in corporate America.

My “trench” is based in reality. They are owed 60 million in just shares alone, and other 60-70 million in agreed compensation. Elon isn’t going to pay them nothing because he fired them “for cause”. If he wants he can go and get his arse kicked in court again over this then he can feel free
