There's some truth here^^^. Central banks have purchased approximately 3k metric tons of gold in the past 3 years which is 5x their normal purchase.

Don't be too shocked if/when Bitcoin has a massive the peer to peer architecture attack and the vulnerabilities of crypto currencies are exposed, hell, dropping the grid or a partial grid drop would likely collapse crypto currencies.

That's kind of the point of Bitcoin. Decentralized. There is no "server". Everyone with a wallet has access to the block chain. It can't be deleted. And when someone changes the protocol it splits the chain into a new "currency".
Now if you're talking about Coinbase getting hacked and the billions in their BTC wallet stolen. Yeah. That will crash the price.

I forgot that Bitcoin is peer to peer, so in theory there is no centralized data storage or servers controlling the blockchain, however there is a possibility of bad actors developing malicious software that could act virally and cause some real issues if it were not quickly quarantined .

So much that the physical inventories in London and Shanghai have been depleted. London delivery times have gone from < 1 week in November up to a current lead time of 9 weeks to deliver. Technically, this means Bank of England is in default .
