Body dysmorphia is a sad mental illness.
Body dysmorphia is a very sad mental illness.
Anorexia is a manifestation, so is facially deforming plastic surgery (think Michael Jackson or Jocelyn Wildenstein). Those are examples folks can relate to because they are more obvious.
A Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner or Ellen Page or Chaz/Cassidy Bono are challenging because their trans component somehow dissolves the obvious element of dysmorphia.
