JBE will be facing against a GOP candidate that has the support of the entire GOP apparatus behind him, no personal background issues and and will have Donald Trump coming to town to do some MAGA rallies for him and hammer JBE and JBE will be forced to run on his record.
People need to understand this. Abraham or Rispone will have the Trump train in town and it's all bad news for JBE. He'll get tarred and feathered with his liberal bullshite and there won't be a thing he can do to stop that train running over his arse.

"Professional" is just such a nebulous term to me.
Right.
I was pointing out the hypocrisy of a Trumpkin complaining about lack of "professionalism" from a gubernatorial candidate when he supports a President who acts unprofessional.
I'm a big time Trump supporter and will be voting for him in 2020 but I'm not denying truthful assertions about him.
quote:
A big part of me feels there is nothing really more "professional" than someone actually recognizing the real need we had to have one do that and to do it. The status quo had become pretty damn unprofessional.
I can agree with that.
And that's the basis of the campaign for Eddie Rispone and I expect to some extent for Ralph Abraham as well.

I'll donate $100 to the Trump campaign if he comes down for a Rispone/Alexander rally and refers to Gov. Bobby Boucher.
But Trump is only coming if it looks like the GOP candidate has a legit shot at winning, and that's going to require the candidate to do some actual work. They can't just depend on Trump making a few remarks to do all the work needed.

You just can't come here and post this character assassination bullshite and then leave.
Expound further if you're going to go that far in your vitriol.

Yeah, I guess I don't know what he meant by that with regard to Rispone. Dude just comes across as sort of a dufus to me.

WTF does that even mean? You hoping for a candidate who is the second coming? That's the kind of shite that got us in the current mess we're in.

Trump may be the chemotherapy we need to burn out the insane political correctness that's killing American culture
Since he was originally intended to be the "embodiment of the white patriarchy" shill set up to be defeated, it's not surprising.

This X 1000! Look what an outsider has accomplished in the White House. After the Trump success story, i will find it hard to vote for another career politician again. Those idiots have been running things for a long time, and running this country in the crapper. It took a knowledgeable business man to start saving it.

Trump won't be here unless he knows the Republican candidate has a chance to win. Right now, it ain't looking that way

Last year, Trump endorsed Kris Kobach for governor in deep red Kansas over the incumbent Colyer during the GOP primary that was a safer bet to keep the seat in conservative hands.
Kobach then lost the general election to a democrat by 5 points even with Trump's endorsement.
Probability to win isn't the only factor in Trump's decision making here.

Yeah, Eddie is going to tackle the immigration issue and solve it single-handedly. Those tv ads are laughably bad.
