Paid Leave?

So, they are going to force private business to pay employees? Where does that money come from if the business is not operating?

I would rather Trump declare martial law and shut everything down for a week, then provide an incentive for employers to provide all workers sick time based on what their average pay week. 7 days of lock down, you are able to isolate everyone with the virus and all mass spreading stops. Get aggressive, get this shite over, and get the economy back humming before August. Paid days off doesn’t mean they aren’t out and about conjugating.

What kind of incentive can they offer the employer to pay their employees. How is the small business owner with 12 employees going to make payroll if the doors are closed?

Trying to understand this one. Can they just using something like two weeks leave? Why three months. That would frick a lot of businesses.

All the other stuff seems reasonable.

You realize that poor people have to go to work whether they are sick or not (and low paying jobs don’t really have benefits, Thus, this actually allows them to have time if they do contract corona and have access to medical care (instead of hiding it and going into their jobs).

This is bullshite because we already know dems can turn "temporary" measures into permanent then they'll set the country on fire if you ever take back the welfare.

This behavior will ruin this country for sure. Let's just elect bernie Sanders already. Im tired of the slow walk, let's get this shite over with.

And what about the working people who pay the taxes that make any of this shite a possibility.

The fact that it's more lucrative to sit on your arse and collect gubment gibs than get a job says everything about the state of our entitlement system.

What about payroll taxes and tax filing extension.

I guess the tax filing extension is done by the treasury and not congress.
