Never been on this board, scrolled through a bit today and it’s clear that the great majority of you guys are trump supporters.
Seems like most national polls have Biden but everyone here seems like the election is already decided.
Just wondering if you guys are worried about only hearing one side of the story.

I'm a R who voted for Trump, but I can agree with you that this is indeed an echo chamber. Sometimes it's nice to be around people that think similarly.
What matters is taking a chance and dipping into other types of echo chambers to challenge your views occasionally.

I was referencing this board alone, I assumed everyone gets their news from their own sources (which can also be echo chambers on both sides).

Honest question...if nearly all news outlets and entertainment skew left, and they do, why do people assume that if you post on an echo chamber (this place is) you don;t see what the rest of the world is saying?
Would the reverse not be more interesting...living n an echo chamber created by legacy media and the entertainment industry and having no idea what the other side thinks because it has not outlet?

I know this isn’t going to be well received but we are slowly becoming Democratic Underground. I know we allow people to post what they want but when they do they are met with replies like above. I know we’ve had a large influx of bots and what not but I don’t want to see us outright ignore conversations and debates just because someone doesn’t see our viewpoints.
