No. I think it was rushed.

Somewhere around 42 million people are on SNAP, so about one in eight people.

Forget the incredible fraud that accompanied paper stamps, why do you want the grocers to collect extra taxpayer money?

Like a plastic card suddenly makes it safer.

Would you trust a plastic card to vote?

You just have to print the food stamp books like currency or ballots with watermarks and maybe even QR codes once scanned into a POS system are negotiated instruments like a check.

Take from my water bill budget? How about you find something else and tell your kids that’s what they’re going to eat.

Scum of the earth.

How is this allowed?
it’s a confusing label at the checkout

SNAP = Food Stamps , alcohol not allowed

EBT = government cash ?? , buy what you want

So, if you have cash in your … whatever you call a government EBT account, you can purchase that

At least that’s all I understand it

Oh no....you're gonna have to pay $8.48 out of pocket?

When I was a passenger in a multi-vehicle wreck last year, I tried to get short-term financial assistance. The corresponding social workers told me since I was employed, my options were to apply for disability and wait for that determination (or get back to work).

That's a shame that someone in the system had a tough moment. When you make too much money, they don't even let you get in the system at all (even when needed).

I feel sorry for her children, not only because their lousy mother feeds them junk, they also have to hear that voice every day.

I've said it before and I will say it again. It isn't my job to provide her with comfort.

Rice, beans, milk and cheese. That's it. That is all that should be eligible. Maybe ground beef. It is supposed to be uncomfortable to force them to get off their asses and get a job.

Typically I say just rice and beans to keep them from starving but you folks think that is too harsh so I'll give them some milk and cheese. Maybe a bit of ground beef for Sunday dinner.

I took that screenshot December 23rd. I just checked the app and it no longer shows SNAP EBT eligible.

Her kids will grow up to be a fat arse just like her. How about have the kids eat a price of fruit or some eggs for breakfast?

What's up with all these MFers who are on social media saying: "Little Dorfmeister will only eat Fruity Pebbles...."

When I was like 6 or 8 or however old her kids are, I got to eat what my parents said I was eating. Here's a sandwich and some cheetos to bring with you to school or summer camp or whatever....
