Yes, it's Boss Bodi's fault in cahoots with Memphis and Central Schools.

No doubt, it couldn't be the good, honest hardworking EBR people. No way.

Nice deflection.

Question, previously you mentioned ISDs around Memphis.

Are they in the same county as Memphis?

Yes. Suburban districts have recently separated from Shelby county schools....including the one where I live. Memphis schools are an absolute joke that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

You have posted that you live in a Memphis suburb, have you not? Haven't you claimed Memphis as your city on here?

Is deflection your entire reason for posting on this topic or did you actually want to discuss the EBR school system? Or were you going to argue that Memphis is somehow behind the pathetic excuse for public schools in EBR?
I get tired of your hypocrisy. Frankly I find it off putting anytime someone from out of state enjoys criticizing Louisiana and anything associated with Louisiana, like you do.

All the while you live in a shite hole full of scandals even worse than the one you come on this board to make fun of. The first link I provided above says the guy was paid up to $200,000 over 15 years (!!!) to take tests for other teachers so they could pass the certification test. Hypocrite.

Start a topic on Memphis public school problems and I'll be glad to share my very strong opinions on it. I think they foreshadow problems Baton Rouge will face.

That won't change the grade fixing and lack or accountability in the EBR system.

I thought you had posted that previously, but somehow now you aren't allowed to post about EBR problems because you live near Memphis.

I appreciate your insight. You have some direct knowledge about ISDs and inner city systems. It appears Shelby County is ahead of EBR.

You normally have somewhat sensible reactions to the SG threads, but now you're just coming off as an idiot. Stick to the topic and stop trying to justify the actions of the EBRPSS by showing corruption elsewhere.

That's an interesting strategy.

You didn't defend the EBR public school system. Instead, you chose to compare it to Memphis.

Nor will I. Cheating is cheating. It's wrong. Unless you want to defend cheating.

Seriously? You think I was justifying the actions of cheating? You're dead wrong.

Do you still stand by your claims that the schools in the EBRPSS are improving and that everyone should simply be patient because the ship is headed in the right direction?

No, but you obviously tried to minimize it and to change the subject.

But who noticed, just a few idiots like myself.

Ok, you weren't defending it, but you were definitely skirting the issue. Like I said, you normally have relevant counterpoints when it comes to the EBRPSS/SG debate, but this one is completely irrelevant. I think you're just lashing out like a child.

The ship may or may not be headed in the right direction (or sinking).

This grade fixing problem brings the accuracy of the scores reported to the state by the district into question in some cases.

I have never written everyone should "simply be patient."

Why do you lie about what I've posted? Is it because you know you're wrong so you have to claim I've written things which I haven't done just so you can attempt to make a gotcha' statement?

If the grade changing accusations change the school system's overall rating downward, then I will acknowledge it.

If it doesn't will YOU acknowledge the system is improving? Hmmmmm????

I thought the system was improving like you, but now I'm not so sure.

Are you certain it is?

First of all I'd like to know who is behind this grade scandal. Did it start with the administration, or is it at the local school level?

If grades are changed, can we believe there weren't opportunities to change test scores too?
