If the loop is closed and the identified blight is removed swiftly (i.e., within a week), it's worth it.

Need to expand this to report homeless. Downtown is like the fricking Walking Dead.

But then the new democrat voter, aka government employee, would lose the very job that was provided due to the swift removal of blight, the very same blight needed for job security.

They better rethink that one.

So it’s ok to doke out a couple of grand a month to your buddies under the guise that they are reporting blight?

I would like one of those jobs. All you gave to do is drive a few miles into a blighted neighborhood once in awhile and fill out a report. A report that gets filed away. A report that is meaningless.

It’s a worthless program, but it’s just the tip of the ice berg. I’d bet under the guise of drug prevention, homelessness, mental illness, gun violence, or whatever the problem NGOs are feeding off the government trough.

The job "required" 20 hours a week.

The assessor's office or a sheriff 's deputy could do this instead.
