Legit outlets probably doing everything they can to confirm it before reporting. I’d think Iran would try their best to keep the news quiet since confirmation of the Ayatollah’s death might motivate anti-regime groups within Iran to rise up.

I, for one, would be very curious who steps up to reach out to the US if it's true. Would it be a henchman trying to preserve and consolidate power, or someone looking to flip the government over there?
