Public support for the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement in the U.S. fluctuated in 2020. Support peaked in June 2020 at 67% of U.S. adults, but by September 2020, it had dropped to 55%.
This high level of support occurred during widespread protests against police brutality following the murder of George Floyd in May 2020
Support for the movement has continued to decline since its 2020 peak, leveling off at around 51-52% by 2023-2024
At any rate whether it was 51% or 30%....the virtue signaling for BLM was off the charts for young folks at that time.

In this day in age, how could you let your kids or any family members you reasonably care about live in Chicago? Or ride mass transit in any democratically run city? Ride a train/bus in Chicago/NYC/Philly/SF/LA/Seattle/Portland/etc. What a stupid fricking thing to do.
This is awful but this is what happens in towns like this. This is what happens in inner cities. You can not live there. There's people on the streets there that have been literally arrested 50 times that are just walking free among you. In any blue city with a Dem mayor with Dem courts run by Dem judges. They just let them go. Literal murderers on the busses. Literal rapists on the trains. They're on the street corners with you, they're walking by the shops you're in, etc. And this isn't some kind of fear mongering appeal - this is as real as it fricking gets..
Please for the love of God. If you live in a city that you can TELL is sketchy, get the frick out of there as soon as you possibly can. Or else this kind of shite happens.

Over the years, I've heard minorities say that white people dont have to have "the conversation" with their kids...meaning what to do when the cops pull you over, how to handle yourself if approached by neighbors, etc. What they don't realize it yes we do. Ours is just different. I had to talk with my kids about when and where to never stop for gas. Be on the lookout if you're by yourself especially after dark. When in public, try you best to keep your back against the wall and very much watch what you and and how you say cause even the slightest interpretation could ruin you.
