You don't have to tell us how smart you are, just talk down to us like idiots we are.

SFP does it all the time and he's never wrong.

Why are other countries using tariffs?

The US isn’t the only trading partner for these countries any more.

Tariffs will cause the shift of formerly receptive trading partners to less desirable economic relationship building, think China/Russia/Middle East.

That was 1 second of thinking. Do the same.

If we are talking about tariffs, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is considered the president's top advisor on the subject and he is an economist.

If we made everything here tariffs wouldn’t affect us. But we allowed manufacturing to leave and then allowed those same countries to levy tarrifs on our stuff to encourage more of our base to leave and then kick them there.

We allowed certain countries to manipulate the market to force even more of our industry to shut their doors and lose market share.

We hold the cards. There will be some short term pain but the end game is bringing back industry and with it American jobs and giving our products a fair chance in the world market.

I don't believe current trading partners will abandon the largest consumption economy on earth for less than reciprocal tariffs on U.S. imports.

I don't know if the tariffs are going to work out well or not, but the status quo was certainly failing so might as well try something different.

I hate to break it to you, but this isn’t going to end well…we won’t get to say “see, look…Trump was smart.” It’s going to be a shite show that gets an “oops, sorry” at most from the Trump dynasty and we will all be holding the bag, with only the Trump moron apologists trying to make sense of it.

It’s ok to be passionate about sincerely held beliefs, but when those “beliefs” are based on literally zero information other than social media posts, it’s obvious to informed folks…

Makes LSU fans look like a joke when the Poli Board rambles about what their neighbor told them about how they should feel because they heard some guy at the gas station make a good point.

Just try to filter your opinions with legitimate facts, please…if not, it’s all good…you’re still the moron in the situation.

EX: “Tariffs are good”. Yes, in 1885, they were good…but you’re wrong because you don’t know shite.

Trump attended the Wharton School of Business. He has his own knowledge base to draw upon.
