Trump actually legalized that....
what?

Suburbs and small towns already vote Republican so your comment doesn't really make sense

That’s weed, not drugs. No different to me than someone setting up a stand that sells other produce or flowers or products. Should be shut down because of the trashiness of having tents on the streets, not the product.

2016 Farm Bill
Recent move to have pot taken off Schedule 1 classification...
I can buy weed in a deep red state like Louisiana legally thanks to OMB.

Imagine rather smelling human waste than weed

THCA legalized under the farm bill is actual weed.

I hate to break it to you but suburban areas outside of the South and parts of the Midwest do not vote Republican unless you are under the impression that suburban areas in New York, Chicago, LA, Houston, and Philadelphia vote Republican. Atlanta and New Orleans suburban areas are quickly becoming heavily Democrat

You've obviously never seen changes to US cities.
When this shite starts, it turns into tent cities on city sidewalks in front of established businesses. They not only deal with the filth and dregs buying and selling in front of their stores, but their very presence deterring business.
Then it's needles and harder drugs from vagrants pervading the area, along with their feces and piss on the sidewalk and street in front of your business. Then perhaps you deal with an increase in rats because of the filthy conditions being created.
So, frick you a-hole on the whole pearl clutching. You have absolutely no business responding, because you obviously haven't seen or dealt with this shite first hand.

Ok. My perfectly legal buzz, complete with a card, says differently.
Either way, we can agree to disagree.

You mean the same Atlanta where they found over 500,000 illegal votes that all favored Democrats? I am not sure if you heard the news but there was a reason why the FBI raided Fulton County

I thought that the farm bill just legalized hemp products? Do you have to have a license for d9 and THCA in Louisiana?
I'm glad and appreciative that Trump rescheduled mj, for sure. He's been an mj-friendly president-MUCH more than Obama was.
I just don't see the OP as being some scathing thing in NYC. Its very mild relative to the shite that goes on in NYC, and not that big of a deal.

The problem with street vendors selling weed is that a lot of them seem to be migrants slinging weed to support themselves along with fake Gucci purses and Prada. Weed and fake swag seems to be sold mostly by illegals. Take a stroll down Canal Street towards Chinatown and these frickers are everywhere selling shite.

And who cares about weed?
I don't care about weed, but I'm cognizant enough to realize that selling it out of tents on a public street is not the way to do it. It's trashy and invites crime.
Do all the drugs you want. Just use common sense. We still want our cities to not look like shitholes, right? Drug use belongs in appropriate venues.

I have a buddy who’s a sergeant in NYPD for a precinct in the Bronx. I texted him asking if this was legit and here was his response. “Haven’t seen those before. I’m willing to bet it’s an illegal vendor and he’ll be summonsed or arrested”
I know he already hates Mamdani though
