Again how many miles of coverage and assets would that take?

I simply asked for tactics

Got a snarky bullshite answer.

How about some assets you would deploy and where you would deploy them.

How in the frick would a poster on tigerdroppings know the answer to that?

I’m surprised it could not be done. If I was sure it could be done, then you would be right to ask for a treatise on the subject. But I never claimed that.

Again defensive technology is waayyy behind offensive technology.

That’s why I was talking about using offensive technology to attack, not defensive technology to defend.

Revelation 9:3-4

Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4 They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads

Prolly just a coincidence

Again how do I use offensive drones against Mobile targets over hundreds of miles?

Pen I think you are a good guy but no need to get ugly about this

I flew on aircraft and we couldn't find bad guys because Doppler radar has certain limitations.

We need common sense drone technology laws.
this will end up being where the govt can have them, but we can't have these drones.

We'll have to fight to get them to be considered "Arms".

In this thread I’ve been wondering why they could not kill the people who are launching the drones and driving the boats. Never have I discussed defending against the drones themselves.

I usually never get ugly unless first accosted. I went back and reread the posts, but to my astonishment, I was the first to be a dick. I think I mistook another’s post for yours. I apologize.

How much damage and death could a nation accomplish with millions of drones? From advanced cruise missiles with tons of explosives to handheld/hand launched drones, drones capable of killing a targeted individual or several people in close proximity to the exploding drone, the future is shaping up to be quite interesting if not frightening.

Yeah, but drones are being used very effectively against mobile people in Ukraine.

True in relatively small numbers.

Most of those videos are of infantrymen in the field in known locations

Not thousands of square miles of area with mobile launch systems you can deploy from Toyota

25,000 per month is a small number?

Ukrainian drones kill or wound approximately 27,000 to 30,000 Russian soldiers per month.Because total Russian casualties in early 2026 hover around 35,000 per month, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have become the primary cause of death on the battlefield.Key Casualty and Drone StatisticsThe Drone Share: Military experts and officials estimate that drones now account for 70% to 85% of all Russian frontline casualties.Verified Figures: According to Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian unmanned units killed or wounded nearly 29,700 Russian soldiers in January alone.Broader Timelines: Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, reported that Ukraine's battlefield situational awareness system, Delta, officially recorded 156,735 Russian soldiers killed or wounded by drones between December 2025 and April 2026—averaging over 31,000 drone-inflicted casualties per month

No they aren't killing large groups they are killing them in relatively small numbers with each drone.

Wasn't there a large drone strike in or near Moscow the other day?

Drone warfare has brought the Russia/ukraine war to a stalemate. Heavy Artillery vs Drones will likely be the biggest transformation in weaponry moving forward.
