Look we are already well down the proverbial rabbit hole when the government is telling us straight up they have proof that aliens are real while showing UFO videos taken on earth.
It’s now to the point that even evidence based people might have to explore the theories that the UFO community have been pushing, some of which is now being confirmed as real when the government was clearly not being transparent.
Again, I’m not claiming these theories are all correct or proven, I’m just putting them out there in context of what is being acknowledged to try to extrapolate what path we are going down.
Many of those “whistleblowers” claim there are many races of aliens, which given the size of space makes sense logically.
Some of them are enlightened, some of them think we’re cockroaches to be studied and others are basically aggressive and supposedly feed on bad energy.
JD Vance and APL are openly saying that they think some of them are basically demons.
So again if:
-the government says aliens are real
-the government is sharing UFO film of crafts visiting us
-the likely presidential nominee from the current government is saying publicly he thinks they’re basically demons…
Given those parameters is it at all still unlikely that we’re being visited by negatively intentioned aliens? I think we’re well past the point of being able to laugh off that possibility, particularly when it would explain why the government wasn’t real keen on telling us anything about them for generations.
I mean if they were all great and positive why not tell us about them?
The only explanations I can think of are: a) they didn’t know for sure
b) they were making deals that kept them in power
c) whatever they found out wouldn’t make people sleep well at night or undermined their authority

I tend to think that the term "demons" is bullshite. Or, maybe not bullshite, but something that we should not really entertain. Maybe these beings are what the Bible and other ancient texts were referring to when they spoke of demons, but we aren't in the frickin bronze age anymore. Whatever it is has a rational explanation beyond "magical being." Assigning them supernatural status gives us an excuse not to even try to understand what they are and what sort of technology they're using.
I'm not saying this to cut you down here, just giving my thoughts on the matter.
Are they demons? Maybe they're what the Hebrews were referring to when they talked about demons, but they have an actual origin and they use technology we could benefit from. It would behoove of us to try and figure out whatever it is. If for no other reason than we don't want to be enslaved or killed by them.
Calling them demons is a cop-out and is likely incorrect anyways, imo.

I agree that semantics probably come into play here.
I mean does an advanced being that has the ability to create life or impact other species automatically become a lower g “god”?
Is a farmer who harvests steers for meat a demon to a cow? Depends on if you’re the cow maybe?
I only used the term demon because both APL and Vance did.

There could well be civilizations out there BILLIONS of years more advanced than ours.

The fact that we still exist suggests to me that enough of them are benevolent that they won’t let any of the “bad guys” wipe out what amounts to our zoo exhibit while they study us and wait to see what we evolve into.

What's crazy to me is to think that God created this. God created something so profound and vast that I cannot conceptualize it. As a human I understand just enough to realize that I will never fully understand it. At the same time, my nature is such that I want to understand it. It's a bit of a kick in the pants.
I tend to think that life is ubiquitous throughout the cosmos. And also that life does not have to look like we do. Meaning, physical bodies.

The problem with it is that—now that we know so much more about DNA and essential amino acids—the odds that life spontaneously generated on this planet a la the many times debunked Miller-Urey experiment have been calculated at 1 x 10 to the 40,000.
I'm sure you can see how much bigger a number that is than the one you provided to claim certainty for your assertion.
The claim you are making is based on what we knew roughly 80 years ago.
In 2026 anybody but the least honest atheist scientists (and there are many of those, I will grant you) will tell you that the odds—based on what we know—are actually against life elsewhere.
Now, you can argue that there COULD be life elsewhere that doesn't depend on any of the foundational amino acids that biological life on this planet depends on and which could, therefore, spontaneously arise much easier, therefore increasing the odds to something reasonable to believe.
Sure. And there COULD be a magic unicorn in the universe who farts out alien civilizations for people like you to beat off to.
It's the same thing as positing some kind of cosmic machine somewhere that vomits out universes so that atheist scientists can claim the multiverse theory (which they accept with exactly zero evidence for it) to avoid admitting that the most likely explanation for this universe given what we do know is that a God of some kind created it.
So that possibility (above) falls into the category of pure speculation and does not improve the odds since there is no way to have any idea whether it's true or not, or if it is, how widespread it might be. Claiming certainty on that basis is completely invalid.
You could also argue that, fine, God created this physical universe, but who is to say that He only created one planet with intelligent life on it? Not me. I'm not making a claim to know whether He did or didn't. The Bible is silent on the matter and sans revelation, no one has any idea. So claiming certainty on that basis is also invalid.
The only "evidence" we have that we are not alone in the universe is stuff like the videos that the government released. Which came out right as AI technology became widely available as a hoax tool.
I don't think that qualifies as inference to the best explanation.
But go ahead and stomp around and leave the "g"s off your curse words because you think it makes you look macho to do so, and fail to deal with any actual numbers, and post lies and continue to masturbate over little green men. Oh, I almost forgot; and use alters to sockpuppet.
