No problem. He doesn't really say an awful lot. And like I said in the OP, presumably this is exactly why he was granted access in the first place - to help alleviate the very concerns he raises. But I do still think he makes a good point. The most important story in the history of history might well be something that needs to be prepared for in advance before you just drop it in peoples' laps.

Which is what they're doing. And what he is doing in the video, whether he realizes it or not.

The only doubt I would have about the government just ripping the bandaid off and telling us the truth already would be if they knew one or more race of Aliens we know about is hostile. Now that could cause a massive panic I guess. But like I said earlier I don’t think humans will be any better prepared to hear the news 50 or 100 years from now. There is always going to be negative reactions if the government ever announces we are not alone and we are not the top of the food chain anymore.
