Most Americans are exceptionally bad at this.

When the market is way down, they're scared to get in. Then, it starts booming, and they pile in.

Then, when it slips, they get scared again and bail.

I once read a study done on an index fund that had gained like 50% in a given time period. They figured out the average investor in that fund at any point during the period had earned less than 10%

Oh look, the self-described moderate only now jumps in on economic news when it is "bad" for trump.

Just lol.

Cool response. America First!

If Repubs need to be called out, I'm there.

If Dems need to be called out, I'm there.

America First! I give props to both BHO and DJT for getting the economy back from the dumps. I actually respect BHO cuz ya know.....he was the president of the country.

It's taking you an awful lot of time to figure out when you entered the positions.

Odd.

Bad for Trump? You think that is all people care about?

Bad for America. We are at a level of competition globally like never before and we need a strong economy.

“The issue is, did tax reform kill the bull market or is tax reform a fiscal policy mistake? That’s what the market is struggling with,”
this is a moronic statement. Nobody in their right mind thinks tax reform is going to kill a bull market. The fact is that we were about a year overdue for a correction, and this is it. "Yeah man, the stock market really hates it when corporate income tax gets cut in half, consumers get more take home pay, unemployment is essentially 0, interest rates remain low, and growth is above 3%". People are just cashing in on some gains. If you are smart you wait till it settles and buy some stocks on sale

What exactly do Repubs need to be called out for here? Any time the stock market drops Repubs should be called out? Why?

This is easy to say but incredibly hard to figure out. Also, it costs every time you buy or sell so its not like you have nothing to lose playing with your retirement like that.
