Don’t think it can get more embarrassing, Jen Psaki baked cookies for journalists

And the comments are cringe worthy

I would not treat 2nd graders with this level of condescension, but here we are. “Oh you’ve been such good little journalists by only giving me softball questions, so you deserve a cookie! Now remember to not question us or you won’t get a treat next time. Aren’t we nice?” I would ask who is dumb enough to fall for this bullshite, but the comments, holy shite. I like to say I’m surprised at this, but then I immediately think of this quote:

My God, we need Carlin, Hitchens, and Hicks around today. I’d be fascinated what they’d have to say about this idiocy.

How long before the articles about how Kayleigh never baked cookies?

I guess when you suck at your job and no one holds you to account for it, you do things like this rather than improving your performance.

I remember the one time when Sarah Sanders was accused of not baking her own dessert

And by the way, one of the journalists screamed out in that tape “We love you”..... CAN PEOPLE NOT SEE WHAT’S REALLY GOING ON?!

The comments are bringing that up non-ironically, saying isn't it nice they’re not being confrontational? Ummmm it’s an actual journalist’s job to be confrontational, not a fricking lapdog to power.

Thanks. Now I'm going to be daydreaming about Kaleigh's cookies the rest of the day.

This is not fake. If you know journalists they really are moved by something like this. They think they're smart but they realize that most of the population views them as a bunch of ignorant assholes. They rarely get respect from anyone so this is a big thing for them emotionally.

One of the comments:

I'm surprised some of these reporters remember they need to breathe without having it explained to them.

I’m having a hard time seeing what’s wrong with this. Seems clever iyam.

You don’t have a problem with a journalist yelling “We love you” to the current administration?

Her mother-in-law baked them.

Not surprised they are in the shape of a circle.

She couldn’t even announce the cookies without saying “um” three times.

That’s the response I give to people when they give me fresh baked cookies

I suggest you read the book “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie.

I grew up really thinking Carlin was way out there in left field.

Later in life I really studied his words and realized the man just loved freedom and he was prophetic in seeing what would become of the world we now live in.

Dad was hyper-Left and loved Carlin, but I can't help but be convinced that he'd probably call Carlin a right wing lunatic today. Dad was chained to the DNC and stubborn as a mule and he undoubtedly would have followed them into the abyss.
