In job postings and public statements over several years, SpaceX wrongly claimed that under federal regulations known as export control laws, SpaceX could hire only US citizens and lawful permanent residents, sometimes referred to as “green card holders,” the Justice Department said.
The Justice Department also pointed to online posts from the company’s billionaire owner Musk as example of “discriminatory public statements.”

Somehow I don’t think many asylum seekers and refugees are very qualified to do what SpaceX does

I find this to be complete bullshite. You're telling me an immigrant, one of the richest men in the world who's also trying to get to our civilization to Mars isn't going to hire the absolute best people to do that just because they were asylum seekers and refugees?

Anyone educated and qualified enough to work for SpaceX in any sort of intellectual capacity wouldn’t have to come here illegally in the first place. They would be part of the uber privileged elite class of Mexico and Central America and wouldn’t be walking across our border if they wanted to get here
