Doesn't Merrick Garland have more important things to worry about?

Because as soon as Trump tried anything they ran to a shopped judge appointed by Obama.

How do they say there’s no voter fraud then say there’s up to 200,000 illegals on the rolls in Arizona?

Same rationale that Hitler used - everything he did was 'legal' - because he said it was.

Same with 'illegal'

Proof of who you are, and where you are from.....

That is not too much to ask.

DEMS are desparate, 2022-2024 will destroy them, and they know it.

They will attempt to cheat again, you watch.

The DOJ argues the new law also runs afoul of a 2013 Supreme Court ruling stemming from another Arizona suit, noting that the state can’t impose the proof of citizenship requirement on those who register to vote using the federal form.

If I recall correctly, there are no "federal" elections. Only state elections whereby the citizens of a particular state vote for Representatives and Senators to represent them and their state on the federal government. So... exactly what the hell IS this federal form for voter registration?

Clown world. I'm thinking about only obeying laws which are convenient to me. Wonder how that will work out.

The 2013 Arizona law that the supreme court knocked down:

quote:

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday struck down a state-mandated requirement that prospective voters in Arizona provide proof of citizenship to be able to register to vote in national elections. But some experts are concerned that the court may have inserted a few "poison pills" in its opinion that would damage voting-rights protections someday down the road.

The case before the court involved a federal law that allows people to register to vote by mail using a federal form that requires the registrant to swear, under penalty of perjury, that he or she is a citizen. Arizona went further than the federal law and added a requirement that the registrant provide a passport, birth certificate or other proof of citizenship to register.

But the Supreme Court, by a 7-2 vote, invalidated the state requirement as pre-empted by federal law.

Wanna bet they're accepting voter registration forms from the illegals flooding into this country?

The left tells me that Illegal voters now have “constitutional” rights that require protection. Come on Arizona, that’s just racist and wrong to ask for proof citizenship.

Get with the feelings and times.

The left is hanging on by a thread.

Isn't it amazing there is JUST enough fraud in swing states to keep them in power?

Now ask yourself, why wouldn’t the Federal form to vote in Federal elections have a proof of ID requirement?

And a follow up, why do we effectively have open borders?

Perhaps you recall when Trump wanted a citizenship question to be put BACK INTO the Census and the Dems lost their collective shite

Purge the rolls now!

100% destroy the data and everyone will have to re-register.

Just fricking do it by accident.

Seems common sense that one needs proof of citizenship when registering as a voter.

What is the DOJ's position?

It’s a good thing this is happening.

Let’s get this to the Supreme Court.

Arizona can accuse the DOJ of acting on behalf of the Democratic Party.
