The Justice Department’s internal watchdog is launching an investigation into the DOJ’s production of files and documents related to Jeffrey Epstein as controversy continues over the handling of the case of the convicted sex offender.
The Inspector General will focus on “the DOJ’s identification, collection, and production of responsive material,” it said in a statement Thursday, as well as “processes for redacting and withholding material” and how the Justice Department addressed issues following the release of Epstein documents.

Good all around, there should be transparency no matter which “side” you’re on.
Having said that, I just don’t understand people who still think there’s dirt on Trump after THIS LONG of everyone being against him

Forget Trump for a second. Let's say he is 100% in the clear. What about other powerful "friends" who actually raped young girls and are potentially being protected by having their names being redacted.

All of Congress has access to the unredacted files.
Seems like giving the people who hate you most full access is a terrible way to protect your friends.
The only way worse than that would be to arrest the pedo ringleader and bring him into the light. Which Trump also did.

That's not actually true. They have access to the unredacted version of files that were released publicly, but not 2.5-3 million other pages the DOJ is withholding that they claim are outside the scope of the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

It is true and they have access to any document that the doj has and can view it unredacted. Hence why Massie can’t hold them accountable with his gay little bill.
