DOGE is shutting down 3 offices in the St Louis metro. One office is the Midwest counterterrorism office. It will be moved to DC or Chicago. Closing the office could save up to $900,000 to $1.2 million in 5 years depending on the new salaries, but it could lose money in the long term. The headline is that they saved over $5 million by closing unused office space.
The office was in St Louis for reason. It doesn’t make sense to move the Midwest counterterrorism office to the East coast.

Then rocket man should present said evidence. Is their waste....all large organizations have waste. Is their some abuse, without doubt. But I suspect the levels are less than what you might see on Wall Street....or GE circa 2000
