I've heard him talk a few times. Never seems intelligent to me. He talks as if things are locked in and that no changes will be made between now and some prediction that he's made.

I’m at 1:40 and he does seem like a bitch. However he says he left twitter because it opened up free speech on the platform, whereas under previous ownership they got rid of people like us.
Ironically this site does the same thing where it moderates what it doesn’t want. Which is fine because it’s a private company.

I'm not super familiar with the dude. I'm somewhat familiar with the birth of Stratfor at LSU, but that was a little bit after my time. And he didn't land at Stratfor until after they moved to Austin.

He is a left leaning neocon. He misses his echo chamber.
Doesn't mean he isn't a great analyst, or that he isn't on point a lot. Just means that he liked twitter with more censorship.
And to a degree it is definitely personal.
Like his takes on the populist right, and Trump.
Still a great watch and a great analyst. Just bear in mind that he is one of those left leaning neocons who used to have a home in the Rep party.

I suspect many on the left will leave Twitter due to the push back conservatives give their stupid ideas.

He has good insights internationally, terrible insights domestically, and he’s tiny balls deep in the Ruling Class cocktail party circuit. He couldn’t handle his opinions being critiqued inelegantly from his right. This was inevitable.

He is correct about Chyna/Russia and their populations. But that will play out over the next couple of decades...
I still catch up with his videos from times to time.

He actually thinks bidenomics is working and seems to want the US to continue to be interventionalist.
Zeihan has some good points over demographic decline in a few countries like China but take a lot of what he says with a grain of salt.
