I think that there is a big attempt to manipulate people into seeing only left or right so that they become robots. But we do have the option to think independently.

Well it’s kind of hard when in a couple of months you get bombarded with pride flags.
The corporations were also pushing political stuff.

I like to break the issues down as:
A) the government should be involved or
B) the government should not be involved
And the more Bs, the better.

I'm old enough to have seen most issues go back and forth between either the parties or the ideologies, so I'll quote Trey Parker from South Park:

I pretty much look at every issue with common sense and whether morally right or wrong, not right or left.

I view things from the perspective of my faith first and then my belief of the role of government second (which is pretty old school conservative).
There are issues that are moral that aren’t necessarily political, but every political issue can be viewed based on a moral compass.
There are issues where I believe that we should intervene as human beings, but those issues shouldn’t necessarily rest on the government for a solution.
This is a long winded way to say that Left versus Right doesn’t necessarily apply when I approach things in this order.

No. I classify everything in terms of Common Sense vs Insanity. it just always turns out that the Democrats pick the side of complete f*cking insanity.
