Is what I'm doing considered melting?

I always thought people getting emotional about a post is melting. Like bringing up random personal attacks that have nothing to do with the topic could be considered melting. There definitely is a lot of that going on in this thread, but I'm not the one doing it.

Wouldn't it be great if people could depend on other regular people for help when they fall on hard times?

1. I, like many, give to local charities and churches

2. When it becomes generational welfare, it is not helping someone in hard times. It is hurting generations of people from aspiring to a higher potential by conforming them to being comfortable at a minimum level of sustainability via the hand out.

What gives you this impression?

I see the average poster speak about poor and marginalized people with contempt and disgust. There is nothing I see that gives me any indication that the average poster here cares enough about poor people or vulnerable populations to do anything to help them, or anyone else, really. Especially when several posters declared that they help people who need help by paying taxes.

I do hope I'm wrong.

That's it!

ENOUGH!

You are NOT a serious poster.

From this point forward, I demand everyone start referring to you by your NEW name: Vaggie-Hank....

You ARE wrong, VaggieHank.

White, Conservative men are THE most charitable demographic in the country, period.

YOU and your KKKomrades don't know what the fk charity ACTUALLY is.

Poverty is often generational. I don't think that makes anyone less deserving of compassion or assistance.

Does giving money to Ukraine while people starve align with pro life?

More often than not perpetuated by selfish, lazy, stupid decisions.

Making posts showing your hatred of White men isn't compassionate nor is it helping anyone, VaggieHank...

You can see all the charity work we do? You can see the taxes we pay? You can see the money given to our churches and charities.?

There must be a number. What is it? How much more do we have to pay to shut you up and make you happy?

After getting that much more will you stfu?

The answer is no. You won’t. Because it’s never enough. That’s how you people operate.

$40/month will go directly to buying beer and crawfish. That doesn't help the kids

Someone who speaks about other human beings the way posters here often speak about other human beings does not typically correlate with charity. I would be very surprised to learn that someone who uses uncharitable language when speaking about poor people would secretly provide financial assistance to those same people.

Again, I hope I'm wrong.

Apparently you don't have a clue of how much anything on this fricking planet costs if you think people are going to somehow be enjoying crawfish and beer with 40 dollars worth of food stamps that can't buy either item.

You people never ask for money. You wait for mommy government to take it.

Here you are on the actual caring scale. 1-5

1 bitching on the internet and waiting for mommy gov

5 selling everything and giving it all to the children

You are a 1.

We get it, Cubbies. You’re the kindest, most sweetest individual not only on TD, but maybe in the whole world. And you never fail to remind us.
