Not at all. It’s pure soft racism from the left. The left thinks minorities are too fricking dumb to be able to get an ID they already have

The voter I.D. discrimination bullshite, is for the Democrats to continue their fraud !!

I'm for voter I.D., along with paying for I.D. for the people who say they can't afford one . It's the responsibility of the voter who wants one, to fill out paperwork, and they would get one with no charge to them, if they can't afford it !!
If people can't take the time to fill out required paperwork, then they really don't want to vote !!

But you have to at least have a heartbeat, not the dead voters that keep voting !!

dont they already require it? They ask me for my ID at the polling place I go to and also name is on a list. They then put a check by your name.

When I voted last week the person working the poles held my id then proceeded to ask me to verify my address and birthdate.

I’m sure the libs would be quite upset if they knew poll workers are asking questions like that.

Democrats think minorities aren't smart enough to go get an ID. They are extremely racist.

Actually the left doesn't really believe that minorities don't have or can't get IDs

What they know is, Voter Fraud can't be detected as long as voter ID isn't required.

You can't send people to the polls to vote for the millions of people who don't vote, if they have to prove who they are.

There are some poor folks that might not have a current ID but I think most people are reasonable enough to say they'd accept an expired photo ID as good enough

I have a friend that lives in Mississippi, and during the 2012 election ( I think. Because this was before their photo ID law got passed or officially implemented) Anyway, she leans fairly conservative and has a sister that's a raging liberal. She goes and cast her vote first thing Election Day morning and shortly thereafter talked to her sister who told her she didn't plan on voting that day. So my friend goes and cast a vote acting as her sister for the conservative choices on the ballot.

If enough of this kind of stuff started happening in key areas, methinks the liberal tune on Voter ID laws would change drastically

If you've ever watched Live PD, you would know that 90% of people have no ID

Years ago Neal Boortz (a lawyer) explained that voting is not a constitutional right. But I don't recall his rationale. I do remember a law prof calling in and saying Boortz was correct.

No, but if you really want to completely eliminate this argument, just make the state issued I.D.'s free.

He’s right.

You are not allowed to be denied voting due to race, creed, sex, etc. HOWEVER, you can be denied the right to vote for any other reason.

There is no specific right to vote in the constitution, but the requirement to have elections is there, implying that votes would be required.

No. The majority of those for whom this claim is being made are on public assistance of some form. To receive such benefits they have to already have an ID (in other words, they already have one).

I was born and raised in a rural area of North La with a sizable black population. We have voter ID laws here in Lousiana, the election workers in my old home area were black 95% of the time and they held everyone to the same standard on ID presentation, even though they (more often than not) knew the person personally.

Considering the context of whom these laws are supposed to be unfairly harming, where I grew up should be dead center for this type of scenario. In all of these years there has yet to be a single story of someone being unfairly kept from voting there.
