Legalize it all you want, BUT any job worth a damn will still drug test.....and if they have a zero tolerance policy, you still better leave that shite alone...

Smoke weed if you want. Don't hurt anyone in the process.

Also, the Fed should at the very least decriminalize personal usage. I'd prefer it was legalized so you pot heads will just stop whining.

At this point it's like gay marriage was with all the whining but worse since no "rights" are involved.

I was thinking of inalienable rights from the Consitution but I can see how some of you pot heads would call that "pursuit of happiness".

So, you win. It's the whining is the same as the gay marriage whining.

Legalize it to make the whining stop and pot heads happy. Win win.

I said the inalienable rights in the Constitution.

Do you get drunk in front of your kids, WT? Smoke weed? If not...why?

Here it is. The Good Book says (to them that "have eyes that see") that there are things which are harmless to one (Christian/pledged to be macro-societally responsible) individual, but if that responsible and willful individual chooses to PUBLICALLY indulge/justify said behavior, such a choice "casts a stumblingblock" in front of the weaker brethren. I.e., if your children, or individuals who have genetic inclinations toward addictive behavior see PUBLIC support/justification to such (potentially injurious) behavior...then down they go. And we ALL end up ponying up to deal with their dysfunction. Jails, Rehabs, SSI Disability, Bureaucratic ad infinitm.

Bottom line. The strong must either set an example for the WEAKEST LINKS (your kids, weaker brethren) in Society, or bear the costs of their dysfunction and calamity. Private indulgence is one thing...Public is altogether another.

Personally, to each their own; I could care less. There are things that I 'saw' and learned via Pot that I could have never saw otherwise. Chalked it up...moved on. But since I have CHOSEN and am personally behold to the Mercy of Jesus...then I (belief) am accountable to relative degree.

The Truth is a "two-edged sword". It both frees us, and binds us to serve Greater Love.

IMO.

Has weed legalization (so far) caused so much trouble that it's a distraction (for the worse) in any of your lives on any measurable level? I'd bet no. I don't smoke it, I used to, I think what someone does at their own home at night is their business. Why not rake in the economic benefit? It could build schools and hospitals.

I'm sure Denver has seen an increase in undesirables and problems that come with that, but that's due to prohibition in other states. If it's legal everywhere, you won't have an increase in those problems.
