This is why I can’t understand why people are so adamant their side is right. We are all being lied to in some way.

Completely agree.

I was just reading the newsfeed where I check my emails on my laptop. Every title was incendiary in order to get me to click, and then once I opened up the articles, they said something almost completely different than a title.
I was once again reminded of why I avoid reading those articles.
I would imagine some people only read the titles

I find you have to recognize everyone has an agenda and least trust those who tell you they don’t and those who pound their chest hardest to try and convince you they are somehow “independent” of everyone else.

2020 blew the doors off. The "summer of love" during an alleged pandemic. The pandemic reaction itself. Seeing that abortion of a "debate" that was essentially a two-on-one tag team of Chrissy Wallace and Biden against Trump on Faux News, followed by Faux News inexplicably making a VERY EARLY "call" for AZ on election night, that set into motion the most egregious election tampering we've ever witnessed, and cost Trump his second term. 8 million extra votes that magically appeared for Democrats in 2020, but then 8 million votes that magically disappeared four years later. Anyone in the entertainment industry that has a conservative voice is silenced. Social media is leftist propaganda. Network and cable television is an endless stream of gaslighting. Democrat and Republican politicians both blatantly lie to us and the "news" goes right along with it- e.g., they're telling you right now that the government shutdown is a battle over ICE funding but they're not telling you that ICE was fully funded until 2028 in the OBBB. Evidence in the Epstein files indicates that the pizzagate "conspiracy" was unequivocally true and that an elite cabal of satanic diddlers have been doing the most unspeakable things to children for decades, but we're arguing about men in women's sports and hanging on every word of crackpots like Tucker Qatarlson and Candace Owens.

So how propagandized am I? I don't know. Probably fully, and resoundingly not at all, at the same time. Why? Because I don't trust media, I don't trust government at any level and I don't have any faith in humanity. Media and television/radio are nothing but propagandized and gaslighting, the spear tip of Operation Mockingbird.

Nick Shirley has been out there uncovering hundreds of billions of dollars in governmental fraud, while the country was obsessed with an old broad in AZ being missing. It's long since we had any hope. I trust in GOD alone, because that's all we've got.

And it allows for people to hear something different as well.

I kind of see both of these. It does feel like a lot of places push you toward either tuning out or going all-in on one angle. What I’ve noticed here is it’s a bit messier - you’ll see something you agree with, then two posts later something that makes you stop for a second. Not always high quality, but at least it’s in the same space.

It feels a little closer to how people actually work through things. I think the lack of algorithmic amplification is better for truth-tracking, at least in terms of interactions. The bulletin board format, stable handle identities tends toward making people answerable (hence so many alts).

Strongly agree. Getting a sense of how other people are seeing things is probably one of the more useful parts of a place like this. What’s been interesting to me is it’s not always totally separate "realities" - sometimes it’s the same basic events, just emphasized or interpreted really differently. Seeing that side-by-side is kind of what makes you stop and think.
