That isn't lost on me either. Ah well, I guess we buckle up and see where the next decade brings us. I'm interested to watch the infighting among the hard left and their more middle counterparts.
The good part is that I've already come to terms with what's about to happen so I get to sit back and watch all the fireworks and laugh

That would be like admiring Pol Pot so that would be a hard no
Posted on 1/13/21 at 10:21 am to burger bearcat
Pol Pot was a French educated communist.

I used to have a grudging respect for how the left sticks together monolithically. But then I realized that that's not really an active choice but the result of their hive mind and not something in their control.
They were united and focused in their quest to defeat Trump and Trump-ism. I wouldn't say they are united in that you have a split between the radical wing lead by AOC and the Squad and the traditional left of center wing of Biden/Pelosi. The radicals threw their support behind Biden and Pelosi but the bill is coming due.

That's where I am. I care but we have no control now so we all get to be spectators.

I'll never admire the sinister pukes but I do have to give them credit, they'll fight for something for 100 years if needed while conservatives generally fight for a couple weeks and then move on.
The left wing is a cult, a very dangerous one at that

Creating dependence is a great way to build and maintain a reliable base.

Nothing to respect about having zero shame.
Posted on 1/13/21 at 10:34 am to burger bearcat
No, they're just following the formula of all communist takeovers in history. Nothing surprising.

Almost in an evil super villain kind of way? They really had a long and short game plan and executed it to perfection. Unless God wants to give us some kind of biblical bailout at the last minute, they succeeded. I'll keep doing my little part to resist, but got to give my respects for a job well done on their part.
Not no but HELL NO!!! My only thought when I contemplate the rise of Dim Marxism is how patient evil truly is. When you consider the decades of planning by the leftists and the perseverance that went into arriving at the final phase for the "fundamental transformation" of America, well, that's the closest I can get to tipping my hat to the Dim Marxists. This catastrophe was 80-90 years in the making. The progressives in our educational system managed to fully indoctrinate two generations of Americans with their Marxist ideology. They did this right under our noses and they disguised this poisonous BS by telling Americans they were "enlightening" society to the plight of the disenfranchised. What a buncha dupes millions of Americans were/are.

If the DNC were played in a movie, it would be like Spectre in the James Bond movies.

This is what I admire them for. They used Q to rile up everyday Americans, rioted all year with no consequences, dress up antifa as patriots to lead the Washington riot, used to Covid to open the door for widescale ballot harvesting and every thing they've done has worked.

You're gonna be a spectator when brownshirts show up to kill your whole family ?
Posted on 1/13/21 at 10:42 am to burger bearcat
They absolutely kicked our arse and took names. It's unlike anything I've ever seen.

The whole purpose of covid was to give the left a fear tactic to get anything they want anyone with half a brain could see that from the beginning

Except RINOs and naive idiot conservatives who just assume the left means well and want to work together. Everything with them is a tactical 4-5 step plan with end goals in mind. And our leaders just sit back and take it.
