I’ve followed this pretty close, and while I think much of his story is likely true... now seeing how many interviews he’s doing and the statements he’s made about what’s going on with the investigating the investigators... he comes off kind of like a grifter using this to propel his career in conservative circle...

Defending yourself is not being a grifter.

The Intelligence agencies set him up and the FBI interrogated his fiancée without a lawyer until she miscarried all to take down Trump. And you have the nerve to call him a grifter?

Has he been convicted and sentenced? So he legally has nothing left to lose by telling the truth, IF he told the same story to the courts. Then he is not admitting anything else he may have withheld from anyone and they can't say shite if he isn't lying. He can't be charged again with the same crime, only if he commits or admits to more.

So what does he have to lose? Nothing. He has his reputation and in some views, his innocence in public opinion to gain.

I want to believe him.

Considering how badly he got screwed, I've got no problem with his self-promotion.

He’s being used. Two times. And doesn’t recognize it.

FWIW, I’ve communicated with him.

Dems/libs seems to thrive off of generalities and ambiguity.

What exactly do you disagree with GP about?

Mostly his comments about things going on behind the scenes with the investigation... it comes off as mere speculation but he’s stating it as fact

Supposedly FBI informants wore wires and the conversations and entrapment efforts were taped and there are FBI transcripts of them. Trey Gowdy stated he has read some of them and it is bad news for the FBI.

So... yes.

They set him up. If successful he would be in prison for years.
No telling how much debt he has to pay for all of the lawyers he needed to defend himself. He was innocent and they knew it.
Whoever is responsible for this should go to prison for life.

They never had anything on Papadopoulos. The FBI set him up, to rat on Trump. So much so the Judge only sentenced him to a week in jail for lying to the FBI.

I believe him for the most part. The thing I worry about is the limelight can be very addictive. I hope he doesn’t start stretching the truth while he’s in that light.

I've had the same feeling for several months now = sounds like he is pumping up some of the details - caught him in one impossible scenario description a few weeks ago - minor detail inconsistent with situation described just minutes before.

Sounds like he is writing a spy novel.

I think he is mostly right but is trying to embellish some details.

At worst he might have to serve the last 3 days of his 14 day prison sentence.
