Women will be heard if there is proof, evidence, witnesses, reported in a timely fashion, etc. 35+ years in what is obviously a political hit...nobody's listening. Situations like this cause great harm to women who have credible cases. This has the smell of dirty politics from the very beginning. Examine all of the players. Sexual abuse is not a political issue!

He's not directing this AT women as if to blame them or claim they believe Ford (more men believe her according to polls anyway)
He's saying women should be EXTRA concerned about the ramifications here because their husbands, sons, brothers, etc are susceptible to these same type of claims that ruin their lives.
Another poster pointed out that women should be worried about their future career outlook because more men will become more or less afraid of hiring women due to the potential risks involved (which I believe is a bigger cause for concern than OPs point but both are good)
And yet another said that it also cheapens those women's claims who have ACTUALLY been assaulted or raped, a valid cause for concern as well.
Don't worry, this thread is about us watching out for our wommenz, not blaming or accusing them of wrongdoing

Which CNN pretty much found when they did a panel on the Kavanaugh accusations.
It was a panel full of women whose responses ranged from “she’s lying” or “what guy doesn’t try that?” Not the shocked pearl clutching they were hoping for.
