The debt is a scam. Can you tell me who in this world is so rich they can loan the US trillions of dollars.

So you're advocating for not doing things because they are difficult?

I generally like his show, but can’t get past his ‘Even if Derek Chauvin is innocent we should still convict him for the good of the country’ nonsense.
But I do like his anti-covid ‘vaccine’ stance.

Open border Libertarians are the exact same as Democratic Socialists.
The thought is no safety net or supplemental help from the government. Just like it was way back when, you got here and you leaned on your people in hard times until you could get going. It is a pipe dream because the government will never take away the candy bowl.
DSA wants voters for their control, open border Libertarians see it as a right of free movement. But if you don't have a border, you don't have a country.

Milei cut 30% of Argentina's spending. Not reduced the rate of growth by 30%. Actually cut 30%.
Argentina was a socialist hellscape. They finally had enough and the right guy w/ the right worldview and the biggest set of balls on earth stepped up to the plate, and the people believed him. Still a long way to go, but they are on the right track.
So, in reality, what it will take here is major economic pain for a long time before people wake the frick up. Then we have to get lucky enough to get someone w/ an unbreakable will like Milei to come along.
It's precisely because we have so many people that think like you do that we will have to wait until we reach that point.

He’s another one I only listen to if I find the guest interesting. Idk how we got to a point on the right where the simple act of listening to a podcaster means you’re in total agreement with said podcaster at all times. Guilt by association bullshite that used to be an accusation only used by the left.

Shut the frick up.
Spending, war and all the things killing our nation are ok, then? Because it would be hard to change it?
You know why it's hard to change? Look in the mirror, bud.

Bingo. Milei had everything against him and he went in and "sold it". Sold it to the people of Argentina.
America needs to find that person who can "sell it".

Buenos had the worst housing crisis in South America with rents on par with the largest cities in the U.S.
Through libertarian policies, he ended the housing crisis in 6 months, massively reducing rents and making the capital far more affordable for regular people to live and work in.

Spending will never change until the boomers die (in office). They abandoned the concept of fiscal responsibility a long time ago. The mere suggestion of social security reform causes compete meltdowns for example.
See this thread as proof. It’s all just so hard according to the OP.

Yep. It was amazing to watch. The moment he got rid of all those rent controls and red tape, supply went through the roof.
The Leftist mind cannot comprehend how that was possible.

The left just memory-holed it like they do everything else that doesn’t conform with their world view.
The people who were mad were the boomers whose portfolios are filled with real-estate that they bought for a pittance 40 years ago that’s now 5 to 10x as valuable today. They would fear property values on their investments collapsing without those arbitrary laws preventing additional housing supply from being built.

Exactly my point. Republicans are the worst for selling some conservatism, then delivering socialism.

The main thing libertarians want is to stop the wasteful government spending, and that’s exactly what most government spending is. You could cut government spending in half and the average person wouldn’t even notice what changed

Pussy?

Yea, people try to reduce it down to it's weird fringe elements, but it's basically just extremely limited government spending.
