It's what some of us would have predicted. If he loses, it will be because he just doesn't have the right stuff for the right people. That is all the votes he needs to win. And if he loses he will have let down a lot pf people. But he will be done politically.

The Trumpsters here will no doubt downvote me, but let me ask you who you would vote for if Trump were to tone it down a little and stay on message (talking about Harris'/Walz's record with his optimistic vision for the next 4 years. Anyone other than Trump?
Well, there are people in the middle whose vote has not been won yet. They may vote for Trump but his insults/tweets, etc. offend/bother/worry them. That is where you win general elections, not with your base.
Trumps rants may make him feel good, but they're likely costing him votes.
Can I get to triple digit downvotes? Fire away.
